The Painted Word | Works on Paper
A collection of original tiny paintings on paper from The Painted Word.
Paper is my preferred surface for painting on, especially when I'm using oil paint.
I find it easier to control the paint and I really like the effect that removing and adding more layers of paint gives to the pieces.
In many, the grain of the paper comes through under the paint surface, giving the painting a really nice finish.
