Die Psychologin is a mystery thriller that follows Sara, a psychologist who finds herself entangled in a web of deceit and manipulation as she tries to uncover the truth behind her husband's murder.
The plot is very, very slow at times and the plot feels somewhat formulaic and predictable. All of the characters lack depth and fail to create any empathy with the reader.
None of the plot twists really created any any shock factor and I wasn't invested in the fates of any of the characters. I read this is German, to practice my language skills, but I wouldn't recommend this book to any fans of the thriller genre as it really doesn't deliver on any front.
Oh hey there!
I'm Louise, but you can call me Fatty. I really like to read, and then I really like to tell people about what I've read. I started this book blog to give fellow readers some great recommendations and maybe introduce them to a writer or a genre that maybe they wouldn't have discovered on their own - because that's what reading is all about!
