Recipe | Sesame Chicken


3-4   Spring Onions (Finely Sliced)

 Cloves Garlic (Minced)

 Thumb-sized Piece of Ginger (Grated)

 Carrot (Finely Sliced)


 Chicken Breast (Cubed)

2 tablespoons 


3 tablespoons 

 Soy Sauce

2 tablespoons 


1.5 tablespoons 

 Chilli Sauce

2 tablespoons 

 Sesame Seeds

1 tablespoon 

 Sesame Oil


  • Mix the soy sauce, honey, cornflour, chilli sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds and sesame oil in a bowl
  • Chop the spring onions and carrot
  • Cube the chicken
  • Add a splash of sesame oil into a hot wok and then add the spring onions (save a handful for garnishing) and carrot - cook for a few minutes
  • Add the chicken and stir until the chicken is browned
  • Add the sauce and mix well
  • Cook until the chicken is cooked through
  • Serve with rice or noodles - garnish with the green part of the spring onions
